Pat McCrory August 2013

“When the North Carolina, over the few year years, chased out significant portions of its Black Republican leadership while heading towards legislative endeavors such as this voter ID law, it doesn’t come across as just a partisan move; it comes off as a racist initiative.”

  1. Good Morning Lenny, I must say that I’m very disappointed in your comments concerning our new Voter Reform bill here in NC.

I find it very bothersome that “experts” from all over the Country are so ignorant on the voting “rights” in our State. I also find it very insulting that so many of these same “experts” believe that their fellow Black American Citizens and college students are either too lazy, too ignorant or too incompetent to understand the voting process and able to acquire a State-issued ID, which is basically required to function in Society today, when they are given 3+ YEARS notice. And as long as our fellow Citizens who serve US in uniform have to vote using an absentee ballot, it’s damned well good enough for college students. Since a college student rarely establishes domicile where they go to school, they shouldn’t be voting there. They should acquire an absentee ballot and vote in the county and precinct of their ACTUAL residence, in most cases the county and precinct where their parent live. There is no question that in several counties in the State, college students have hijacked local governments from the actual residents of those counties. And in multiple cases, college students who are legal residents of another State.

And the idea that We The People are supposed to make it “easier” for people to vote is just bullish*t. First, there is no Constitutional Right to vote, second, if you are not interested enough in the election process to properly register to vote 25 days before election day, get a proper ID and show up when the polls are open then I believe I would prefer that you not vote, no matter what your race, gender, age or any other classification may be. You need to get out of Chicago because the ignorance and corruption of that cesspool on Lake Michigan is effecting your ability to think properly.

    Regards, IN LIBERTY!!
